Intriguing
A few years after we left Renna Scott during book three, Where Angels Tread, we’re back with Renna as life continues to challenge her in all things, but especially love.
Again Renna is faced with unexpected and difficult situations, where her heart and emotions are continuously tested because life is never plain sailing and she has so many colourful characters in her life, some of who come and go. This one was particularly intriguing because time had moved on from where we left everyone in the book before, but now, things are more complicated and what they all face are hard decisions that will change their lives. For Renna this also includes her romance with the comtesse, where her emotions are really pushed with touch and go events.
It was great to catch up with Renna, her spiritual connections, and her wonderful friends and acquaintances, as life just kept going. There was not a dull moment, and many an emotional one that really left Renna having to weigh up all she’d originally thought of love and perhaps look at it from new angles.
