A sweet exploration of emotion and the heart
Jayde meets Tessa when she gets the opportunity to profile international celebrity, Abigail. When she learns the interview has to be about the meaning of love, something she doesn’t really believe in, it is Tessa who helps Jayde learn more about love.
Such a sweet story giving lots of perspectives along the way from very different characters. Jayde was sceptical about love and what it is and means, but she really developed throughout this story as she learned from her own and other’s experiences about love. The insights from all the characters were very insightful and cleverly also get you thinking about you opinions and experiences whether you can relate to theirs or not.
When we really got to know Jayde and Tessa it was easier to understand some of their feelings on the subject of love, yet where Tessa was concerned it was also a bit shocking. After everything Tessa had been through, her upbeat and positive outlook on love really had to be admired. It was so infectious, and having been dared to try, Jayde wasn’t going to be able to resist Tessa’s charms.
Enjoyed every minute of this story, especially how Jayde and Tessa’s growing relationship accompanied snippets if the interview Jayde was doing! Very heartfelt and emotional, but beautiful with some humourous hints to keep it light and fun.
